At beginning i was a "simple" photograph, no intentions to manipulate etc... all the attention had to be for the hands (painted).
But background needs something: I choose branches alike veins, sufficiently disturbing.
Very uncertain about butterflies, very uncertain: add a mood too romantic.
At the end: maybe will be better without any manipulations, could be more conceptual like my first intention.
Thanks to my boyfriend who told me: "...seems a butterfly!"
Well, butterflies may be romantic to you, but in some stories, there fragile little fluttering things are the harbringers of death and the symbols of disease. A butterfly, frail and beautiful, seemingly just that, a pretty thing, but then, just as your woman's hands, they are tainted. In this picture, the butterflies don't bring a sense of romance to me; no, they are Death's little messengers. Frightening in a disturbing manner.
Of course, during summer, I love seeing the colourful little things sail through the air. Love them.

People are like a box of chocolates. You've got the creamy ones, the nutty ones, and you've got those liquor-filled ones that you dislike.
i like the manip, it does not ruin the original photo - but i'd (personaly) still change sth - the lower branch goes "over" you. - i would make it only in the background. (:

You're such an amazing artist. This is hauntingly beautiful.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
